Our Ministries
Adult CE
Adult Christian Education encompasses adult sunday school, Bible studies,
the Free Market, and special events for men and women.Bible Buzz
Wednesday night children's program. Kindergarten through 5th grade. No
registration required; just come as you are.Care Ministry
Care Ministry is a team of people who provide care for those attending the
church who are experiencing hospitalization, illness, loss of a loved one,
deployment of a spouse and other issues for which emotional, spiritual and
practical help is needed.
Epicenter
The Epicenter is the heart of The Rock; where we meet to experience Christ
together through worship and sharing of the message of Christ.Jail Ministry
Jail Ministry has been ministering to those incarcerated in our local and
county jails for over 7 years. We minister each week in the jails to men
and women through Bible study and encouragement.
Kidstuf
Kidstuf is a dynamic, interactive, and fun shared experience on Sunday
mornings for children K-5th grade and their parents. We incorporate drama,
dance, comedy, Bible teaching and character development in a very fun
atmosphere!Maintenance
The Maintenance team works to constantly maintain and update our church
facility and grounds to create a welcoming, clean and well functioning
facility for The Rock.Music Ministry
Our music team performs in each of the three Sunday morning services. Our
style is contemporary and celebratory, and we always welcome new musicians
to join the team.Nursery
The Nursery at The Rock cares for infants through 2 year olds during all
services and special events.Office
The office at The Rock is open Monday through Thursday, from 10:00 am to
5:00 pm. Staff and volunteers work together to handle all of The Rock's
financial and administrative needs.
Soundbooth
The soundbooth assists the sermon, media and music teams with sound,
uploading sermons to the website, and lighting for special events.Sunday School
Children's Sunday School is for all kids preschool through 5th grade. We
have multiple classes and our teaching each week is geared to supplement
KIDSTUF with more in-depth Bible teaching.Technical Team
The Tech team supports the ministry of The Rock by ensuring the proper
functioning of Information Systems and ensuring weekly sermons are
available online.
Tremors
Tremors is the place to meet and greet at The Rock. An extension of the
foyer, the barristas at Tremors serve up speciality coffee drinks, smiles
and a hospitable, welcoming environment for visitors and regular attendees.
WOW
Winning Our World is a ministry of hospitality to our guest and regular
attendees on Sunday morning. The WOW team greets, assists with special
events and helps orient visitors to The Rock.Youth Alive
Youth Alive is a ministry to 6th - 12th grade students, with ministry
groups split between 6-8th graders, and 9-12th graders. We meet on Sunday
mornings and Wednesday nights, and during the week for social events.
